PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Talr, Inc. ("Talr AI") offers an SMS messaging program to deliver important communications related to your use of our hiring and recruitment platform. Messages may include:
- Interview invitations and confirmations
- Scheduling reminders and updates
- Account notifications and alerts
- One-time verification codes (OTP) for account security
- Recruiter notifications regarding candidate activity
MESSAGE FREQUENCY
Message frequency varies based on your hiring activity. You may receive messages when you have upcoming interviews, scheduling changes, account verification needs, or when a recruiter contacts you about an opportunity.
COSTS
Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile service provider for plan details. Talr AI does not charge for SMS messages, but your carrier may apply standard messaging rates.
HOW TO OPT IN
Path 1: Self-Signup
When you create a profile on talr.ai, you may provide your phone number and check the SMS consent checkbox agreeing to receive text messages from Talr AI. By checking this box, you expressly consent to receive SMS messages at the phone number provided. The consent checkbox is not pre-checked and is separate from any other agreement.

Path 2: Recruiter-Added (Double Opt-In)
When a recruiter enters your phone number into the Talr AI platform, the system sends a one-time double opt-in SMS asking you to reply YES to confirm your consent to receive messages. You will not receive further messages unless you affirmatively reply YES to the opt-in request.

HOW TO OPT OUT
You can opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying with any of the following keywords to any message you receive from us:
- STOP
- UNSUBSCRIBE
- END
- QUIT
- CANCEL
After opting out, you will receive a one-time confirmation message and no further SMS messages will be sent to you unless you re-opt in.

Consent is captured via an explicit, unchecked checkbox during profile setup. Users must affirmatively check the box to opt in; it is not pre-selected.
